Do I need an appointment?
Yes, Appointments are highly recommended to guarantee your preferred date and time. FreshCutzByLaura is a appointment based barber experience in Chicago's Loop. Booking online is the fastest and easiest way to reserve your visit.

How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This gives us time to discuss your hair goals, get you checked in, and start your service on time.
What if im running late?
I understand that traffic and unexpected delays happen. I offer a 15 minute grace period for standard 45- minute haircut appointment. If you think you will be late, please send me a quick text as soon as possible. -If you arrive more then 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or reshceduled to avoid affecting other clients.-
How long is a haircut appointment?
Most Signature Haircut appointments last approximately 45 minutes. This allows plenty of time for a consultation, precision haircut, styling, and finishing touches so you leave looking and feeling your best.
Can i book my next appointment before I leave?
Absolutely! Many of my regular clients schedule their next appointment before leaving. Booking ahead helps you secure the date and time that works best for your schedule while keeping your haircut looking fresh year around.

How often should men get a haircut?
For most hairstyles, I recommend scheduling a haircut every 4-6 weeks.
Skin Fades typically look their best w/ maintenance every 2-3 weeks, while longer hairstyles can often go to 6-9 weeks between appointments.
What haircut is best fit my face shape?
Every haircut begins with a consultation. Ill recommend a style based on your face shape, hair texture, lifestyle, and how much time you want to spend styling your hair. My goal is to create a haircut that complements your features and fits your daily routine.
What is the difference between Signature Haircut and Executive Haircut?
The Signature Haircut is my complete premium haircut experience, including a personalized consultation, tailored haircut, shampoo, head massage with shampoo brush, styling, hot lather and hot towel finish.
The Executive Haircut includes everything in the Signature Haircut, plus a revitalizing scalp cleansing treatment. This treatment helps remove product build up and dry flakes, enhances scalp circulation, and creates a cleaner, refreshed environment for your hair and scalp.
- The Executive is especially great for clients who use styling products reguarly or want to give their scalp some extra love-
Do you cut curly hair
Yes! I work with a variety of hair textures, including curly, wavy, and straight hai. Every haircut is customized to your natural hair pattern and personal style.

Absolutely! Bring inspiration photos is encouraged. They help us communicate your vision and ensure we're working toward the same style. Ill also offer professional recommendations based on your hair type and face shape.

Yes. Wheather you're maintaining medium length hair or growing it out, ill tailor the haircut to keep it balanced, healthy, and easy to style while preserving the length you want.

In many cases, yes. If you received a haircut that didn't meet your expectations, Ill carefully assess your hair and recommend the best plan to improve the shape and help you achieve your desired look.

Most clients benefit from a professional beard clean up every 2-4 weeks, depends on how quickly their beard grows and how defined they like their shape.
What is the difference between a Beard Trim & Deluxe Beard Trim?
Beard Trim is a professional beard grooming service focused on shaping, trimming, and maintaining a clean, polished look.
Deluxe Beard Trim takes it further with a straight razor detailing, hot lather, and a aromatic hot towel for sharper definition and a smoother finish.
